Passport
All particpants must have a valid passport with at least 6 months remaining from final day of intended stay in China and expiration date of passport.Passport information for U. S. citizens can be found at link below:

Visa
All participants must have a visa to study in China. EducAsian will obtain the necessary "letters of invitation" and other required forms to obtain a visa.

The Chinese visa will take up an entire page of your passport so make sure you have room.
You can apply for a visa at the Chinese Embassy in Washington, DC or at their regional consulates depending on where you live:

Alternatively you can use a visa service which will charge a fee but often are very helpful and can guide you through the necessary paperwork.
Flights
You are encouraged to book your flights early, especially for summer programs. Most major carriers fly to China and there are some good deals if you shop around.
Time Zone
China is at GMT +8 and does not observe "daylight saving time". China is 12 hours ahead of US Eastern Standard Time (New York) from April - October and 13 hours from November - March.
