Summer group at Six Harmonies Pagoda

There is an ancient Chinese expression which says: "In the sky there is heaven, on Earth there is Hangzhou and Suzhou." This capital of Zhejiang Province has been a famous tourist destination for over 2000 years, and is still cosidered to be one of the most beautiful cities in China.

Only several hours by train or bus from Shanghai, Hangzhou is a combination of laid back weekend escape town and modern industrial center. Some of Hangzhou's more famous sights include the West Lake, the Temple of Inspired Seclusion and the Six Harmonies Pagoda.
