| Shanghai Jiaotong is another of China's Key Universities, directly under the State Education Ministry. It has a history dating back to 1896, and is the alma mater of such distinguished graduates as Jiang Ze Ming, former president of China. The park like campus is situated in the heart of Shanghai with convenient access to shopping, restaurants and the subway. With a total enrollment of 24,000 students and 1984 international students, this is one of Shanghai’s two most respected universities. The school’s Chinese Language department offers programs throughout the year of varying lengths and accommodating all levels of study, and this is also the campus for the 6 week Shanghai portion of EducAsian’s Chinese Language, Business and Culture Studies program. |
